Elsie Mae Kotur, 100, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday evening at her home. Elsie was born July 24, 1909 in Mingo Jct., OH, daughter of the late Fred A. and Ida May (Walker) Miller. Elsie was a Christian by faith and at her death she was 100 years 7 months and 14 days old and she kept her beautiful sense of humor up to the end.In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Milan "Mike" Kotur who passed in 2005. Elsie is survived by her 5 daughters, Dorothy Shepherd of Toronto, OH, Katherine (John) Bains of Port Richey, FL, Evelyn (Jim) Gettings of Toronto, OH, Vonda Britt of Aiken, SC and Joyce (Dan) Dean of Richmond, OH; 10 grandchildren, William (Donna) Rogers of Richmond, OH, John, Carl (Mary Jo) and Robert (Betsy) Bains all of Florida, Donna (Bob) Starr of Toronto, OH, Richard Wells Jr. (Susan) of Strausburg, OH, Charlotte and Barbara McNichols of Aiken, SC, Carla ( Donald) Scherdin of Sweeny, TX, and Vonda Patrick of Warren, OH; 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Elsie will be held on Friday, March 12 from 5-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, where her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am with Rev. Michael Bongart. Burial will take place in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
