Ernest Lee Franke, 73, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Lee was born December 3, 1949 in Steubenville, son of the late Edward L. and Sara C. (Coffey) Franke.

He retired from NAPA Auto Parts where he worked in the warehouse/stockroom. Lee was Presbyterian by faith and a member of the Ohio Schools for the Deaf Alumni Association.

Lee leaves behind his daughter, Michelle Lee Franke and husband Tucker Blose of Pittsburgh, PA; son, Edward G. (Randi) Franke of Toronto; siblings, Mary Ann (Jerry) Liddick of Toronto, James (Lori) Franke of E. Liverpool, OH, William Bill (Susan) Franke of Toronto, Cathy (Tim) Ingram of Maineville, OH, Jay (Deena) Franke of Toronto, and Jon (Michele) Franke of Columbus, OH; four grandchildren.

Visitation for Lee will be held Monday, August 28 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where the funeral service will follow Tuesday at 11 am. Jane Schockey will officiate and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
