Ernestine Marie Wiley, 79, of Rayland, OH, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Ernestine was born July 14, 1939 in Piney, WV, daughter of the late Albert G. and Bertha (Swiger) Vandruff.

She was a homemaker, Methodist by faith and a member of the Smithfield Methodist Womens Aux. Ernestine had strong faith, she loved reading books and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Wiley, her daughter Nancy Cooley, one grandson, one great-grandson, one brother and one sister.

Ernestine leaves behind her children, son Gilbert (Susan) Wiley, Jr. of New Middletown, OH, daughter Vickey (Frank) Sochor of Bridgeport, OH, daughter Virginia (Tim) Singleton of Rayland, daughter Paula Hudson of Rayland and son George (Amanda) Wiley of Mount Union, PA; brother John Vandruff of AZ; sister Doris (Dick) Beard of E. Liverpool, OH; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Rev. James Hoff will officiate and her burial will follow in the New Alexandria Cemetery.
