Obituary

Ethel L. Punkin Wedlake, 76, of Steubenville, OH, passed away suddenly Sunday, April 16, 2017 in the Weirton Medical Center ER in Weirton, WV.

Punkin was born May 31, 1940 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Richard Benson and Ehtel Juanita (Stewart) McMannis.

She was currently employed as a cook at Margarets Caf in Toronto, OH and she was a member of the Toronto Eagles.

In addition to her parents, Punkin was preceded in death by her son Larry Wedlake and her sisters, Jacqueline Hass and Donna McCourt.

Punkin leaves behind her husband, Alfred Al Wedlake; her son, Rodney (Robin) of Bloomingdale, OH, son Randall of Toronto, son Kevin of Sandusky, OH, daughter Bobby Jo of PA and son Todd (Amy) of Toronto; three sisters, Judy Baker of Toronto, Joyce (Larry) White of Steubenville and Sherry (Dave) Walker of Coal Grove, OH; two brothers, Kenneth Bub (Lori) McMannis of Columbus, OH and Charles McMannis of Toronto; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Punkins funeral service will be Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Raul Diaz officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
