Eugenia J. (Skaleski) Joyce, 99, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 04, 2013 in the Laurels of Steubenville.Eugenia was born Sept. 27, 1913 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late William and Katherine Kromalic Skaleski.Eugenia was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She was a graduate of Steubenville Big Red and the Steubenville Business College.In addition to her parents, Eugenia was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Joyce who passed in 1984, her daughter Regina Joyce, her sons Michael and Thomas Joyce, granddaughter Jessica Pool, her sisters Amelia Bushlow and Kathleen Small.Eugenia is survived by her daughter Peggy (Ed) Pool of Toronto, OH, her brother William Skaleski of Geneva, OH, daughter in law Donna Joyce of Steubenville, OH, and five grandchildren. Visitation for Eugenia will be held on Friday June 7, 2013 from 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH; where services will be held on Saturday at 11 am, with Fr. Thomas Vennitti officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH. Vigil Service Friday at 6 pm.
