Faye R. Verhovec, 63, of Rayland, OH, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at her home.
Faye was born July 5, 1962, in E. Liverpool, OH, daughter of the late William P. and Opal (Dalrymple) Anderson.
Faye was a retired Vet Tech and bus driver for Buckeye Local Schools. She was a member of the YahWah Apostolic Ministries, the 4-H, Harrison Co. O.H.C. and Premier Mount & Trail.
Faye is survived by her husband, Henry D. “Hank” Verhovec, whom she married July 4, 1983; stepdaughter, Michelle (John) Puckett of Pierson, FL; three brothers, Perry Anderson of Amsterdam, OH, John (Lee-Hua) Anderson and Charles Anderson both of Wintersville, OH; two sisters, Darlene (Keith) McCleary of Bloomingdale, OH, and Debora Moon of Rayland; two step-grandchildren, Ashton and Connor Puckett and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 10 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. A Celebration of Life with food and refreshments will follow at the YahWah Apostolic Ministries on Main Street in Smithfield.
Memorial donations may be directed to your local humane society.
