Flora Mae (Chipps) Davidson, 81, of Toronto, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.Flora was born on May 19, 1927 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Arthur and Flossie (Ice) Chipps. Flora was a housewife and a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church in Toronto. In addition to her parents, Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit who passed away in 1977;her daughter Nancy Fleischer in 1999, her sister Norma Costlow; three brothers, Arthur, Robert and Thomas Chipps.Flora is survived by her son Ralph Davidson of Empire, OH; her daughter Deborah Lewis of Toronto, OH; her brother Richard (Mary) Chipps of Steubenville, OH. Flora is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Flora will be held on Tuesday, February 24 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am with the Rev. William Hibbs officiating.
