Flora E. Flip (Tweedy) Harkins, 90, of Mingo Jct., OH, formerly of Rush Run, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday June 17, 2021.

Flip was born August 15, 1930, in Brilliant, OH, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Walters) Tweedy.

Flip was a homemaker and love being around all her family.

In addition to her parents, Flip was preceded in death by her husband, David Harkins, who passed Nov. 1, 2008; grandson David Rum Morris, great-grandson Nathinal Morris; three sisters, Zelda Fithen, Ruth Hellock, and Irma Taylor and three brothers, Charles, Wilbur and Herman Tweedy.

Surviving are her three daughters, Rebecca (Brad) Kovarik of Smithfield, OH, Charlotte (Jim) Monogioudis of Mingo Jct, and Rhonda (Dino) Phillippi of Rayland; her son, Dwain (Paula) Harkins of Rayland; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 20, 2021, from 5 to 8 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Additional visitation Monday from 10 to 11 AM followed by the service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery near Rayland. www.jefosterfh.com
