FLORENCE H. GRANATIR 85 of Center Chapel Road Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday Aug. 24, 2004 in Trinity Medical Center West. Florence was born Jan. 19, 1919 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie Mills Shane. Florence was a Homemaker, was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Wayside Garden Club in Pleasant Hill, and was a member of the Audubon Society. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by: a Brother; Charles Shane. Surviving are; her Husband George P. Granatir, whom she married in Holiday Cove, W.Va. on Sept. 23, 1941, Two Sons; Richard Granatir of Toronto, Ohio; Philip and his wife Pamela Granatir of Wintersville, Ohio. A sister Wanda Sentich of Steubenville, A Brother; Joseph and his wife Ruth Shane Sr. of Toronto, Ohio. Five Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in Memory of Florence, on Saturday Aug. 28th at 11:00 am. at the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill. Rev.'s Jeff Proya and Jason Elliott will officiate the service. The J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio is in charge of the Services.
