Florence A. Moore, 84, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday April 8, 2010 at her home.Florence was born July 28, 1925 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Patsy and Margherita Suffoletta. Florence was Co-Owner of the former Lew Moore Furniture Co. in Toronto; who with her late husband Lew were in business for 38 years until her retirement. Florence was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and the C.W.C. of the church. Florence was an active member of the Toronto Business Community over the years, she established a yearly Scholarship Fund at Toronto High School in Memory of her son Mark and her husband Lew. Florence was a lifetime member of the T.H.S. Alumni Club. In addition to her parents, her husband Lew, who passed away in 2003 and her son Mark, who passed away in 1982 she was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Surviving are her daughter Luanne M. (Bill) Martin of Toronto, her grandson Jason (Cassie) Moore of Okla., her granddaughter Rachel (Jason) Ault of Steubenville. Three great-grandsons, Ethan, Dylan, and Owen. Two brothers Sandy (Myra) Suffoletta of Georgetown, Ky. and Bob (Joanne) Suffoletta of Toronto. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 1-3 pm. and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto. A prayer service will take place on Monday morning at the Funeral Home at 9:30 am., followed by Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am. at St. Francis Church. Father Thomas Vennitti will Celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery. Vigil Service will be Sunday at 3:00 pm.
