Florence A. "Flo" Nurczyk, 67, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday Nov. 7, 2011 at her home. Flo was born July 18, 1944 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Ralph and Kathryn (Utt) Noonan. Flo was a Registered Nurse graduating from the Ohio Valley School of Nursing in 1964. Over the years she worked for Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, OH, The Carriage Inn of Steubenville, OH and before retiring in 1999 she worked for Heritage Home Health Care in Toronto, OH. Flo was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, Riverview Garden Club, her Card Club she had with her friends, Women in Action Against Cancer Coalition and she was a 1962 graduate of Toronto High School. In addition to her parents, Flo was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Nurczyk McIntyre on Oct. 13, 1988. Surviving is her husband John Nurczyk, whom she married on June 15, 1968; her son Matt (Lori) Nurczyk and her two grandchildren Brandon and Breanna Nurczyk all of Toronto; three sisters, Jacqueline Lawrence, Kathryn (Steve) Martin all of Smiths Grove, KY and Cindy (Chuck) Lewis of Freeport, OH; three brothers; James (Barbara) Noonan of Hamilton, OH, William (Sylvia) Noonan of Calf. andRalph Noonan of Toronto, OH. Visitation will be held on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto, OH. The family will gather on Thursday morning at 9:15 am at the Funeral Home, followed by Flo's Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10am at St. Francis Church.
