Florence M. Margie Pinkerton, 70, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Thursday May 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.

Margie was born July 20, 1944 in Mingo Jct., OH, daughter of the late James E. and Marjorie E. Reynolds Reidy.

She was a homemaker and a Kirby Sweeper Sales Rep for several years and Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her infant son, Daniel James Pinkerton and by her two brothers, Wayne and Bobby Reidy.

Surviving is her husband of 52 years, John R. Pinkerton Sr., whom she married on Sept. 9, 1963; her children, Darlene (Albert) Jones of Wintersville, John R. (Lori) Pinkerton Jr., of Toronto, OH, Michael L. Pinkerton of Pittsburgh, PA and Darren K. (Eva) Pinkerton of Bloomingdale, OH; six grandchildren, Jessica, Austin, Dylan and Wesley Pinkerton, Albert Jones Jr. and Ryan (Kelly) Gross; one great-granddaughter, Lilliann Pinkerton; her three sisters, Carolyn (James) Snodgrass of Richmond, OH, Wanda Maffett of Toronto and Charlene (Theodore) Maragos of Toronto; her two brothers, James (Maria) Reidy of Steubenville and Gary (Charlene) Reidy of Toronto and her sister-in-law, Maxine Reidy of Toronto.

Visitation will be held on Sunday May 31, 2015 from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Chaplain George Romage officiating and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
