Obituary

Floyd Raymond "Ray" Logsdon, 82 years of age, and a resident of Piney Fork, OH, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.

Ray was born on December 9, 1942, in Steubenville. He was raised in Bloomingdale, OH, and was a graduate of Waye High School. After high school, Ray received an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement.

He was an Army Veteran and Past Commander of the Piney Fok American Legion Post #735. While in the Army, during the Vietnam Era, Ray worked in the White House Communication Dept. under both Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.

Ray was preceded in death by his children, Nicole Logsdon, Rodney Logsdon; siblings, Dale Logsdon, Senate "Peeper" Logsdon, Linda Lou Ohle; parents, Clarence Dale and Odessa Faye Logsdon (nee: Willis).

He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Patricia (Pat) Ann Logsdon (nee: Rensi); children, Robin (Shawn) Graham, John (Tracey) Flouhouse, James (Justina) Flouhouse, John (Rena') Logsdon, Rita (Bart) Morrison; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ray's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire Southern Care Hospice team, a very special aide, Haley Sagar, and Ray's granddaughter, Bailey Ebright.

A Memorial Service for Ray is being planned and will be announced. The service will be held at the Pine Valley Sportsman's Club with Ray's son, Rev. John Logsdon, officiating.
