Frances R. (Fowler) Wherry, 70, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the East Liverpool City Hospital in East Liverpool, OH.Frances was born December 11, 1941 in Latrobe, PA, daughter of the late Harry and Helen Cooper Fowler.Frances was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, OH; she enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.Frances is survived by her husband John B. Wherry of home having recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary together, they were married Feb. 4, 1967; her four daughters, Cindy (Mark) Stuck of Toronto, OH, Melanie (Scott) Owen of Cincinnati, OH, Maureen (Fred) Taggart and Melissa Wherry both of Toronto, OH. Frances is also survived by her four grandchildren, Mark Stuck Jr., Lauren Brooke Owen, Erin Taggart and John Wherry; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother Harry Fowler of Derry, PA and her loyal companion Dolly.Visitation for Frances will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 12-2pm and from 4pm til the time of her service at 5:30pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. Pastor Kevin Rinkes will officiate the service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Frances' memory to the Tony Teramana TEAR Fund 3204 Johnson Rd. Steubenville, OH.
