Francis (Frank) Mario Argentine, loving and patient husband, father, and brother, age 57, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 22, 2005. He was born October 6, 1947 in Steubenville; son of the late Joseph R. and Josephine (Hrichak) Argentine. Frank received his Engineering degree from Indiana Institute of Technology and his MBA from Franciscan University. He was a Professional Electrical Engineer who was licensed in 5 states and was a dedicated employee at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He remained loyal to his work, and to those who worked for and with him through difficult transitions at Wheeling Pitt. He enjoyed teaching Graduate Business and Math at Franciscan University. He was a former member of the Board of Directors of Jefferson County United Way and of the advisory Board of Jefferson Community College. He was a little league baseball and soccer coach and dedicated most of his time to the attention of his children and family. Surviving is Frank's wife of 28 years, Antoinette (Toni) M. (Tyska) Argentine. He is the dedicated father of four children, Matthew (14), Justin (19), Frank (21), Julie Maurer (27) and her husband Jeff. He is the brother to David, Joseph J., Donna Smith, Maria Tomlin, and Annette Buckmaster. He is preceded in death by his infant brother Joseph and his parents. His family requests your presence to celebrate his life at J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto on Tuesday, January 25 between the hours of 1-4pm and 6-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 26, at 1:00pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Steubenville. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. He will be taken to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Cemetery. Frank was a kind and honest man who opened his heart to the world.
