Frank 'Cib' Cibulka, 86, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Thursday April 22, 2010 in Gable Care Center in Hopedale.Frank was born Jan. 22, 1924 in Bradley, Ohio, son of the late James and Elizabeth Topich Cibulka. Frank was retired from Consol Coal Co., Engineer's Dept., was a member of the Smithfield Christian Church, where is served as an Elder for over 50 years. He was a member of the Smithfield Masonic Lodge # 182 F&AM and the Scottish Rite of Steubenville. Frank served his country during W.W. II in the U.S. Army.In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Joseph and by three sisters, Mary Van Beneden, Anna Kovalchik and Emily Pavlovic. Surviving are his wife of 64 years Mary Elizabeth (Higgins) Cibulka, whom he married on Nov. 20, 1946, his two daughters Robin Cibulka of Bradley and Peg (Rodney) Lecik of Smithfield, his granddaughter Megan Lecik of Smithfield and his two faithful feline companions Tom and Morris. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 12 noon. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate Frank's Service and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield. Full Military Graveside honors will be provided by the Piney Fork American Legion.
