Frank M. Tolman, 81, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Friday, January 2 in the Emergency Room of Trinity Medical Center West. Frank was born July 14, 1927 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Patsy and Goldie (Monigold) Tolman. Frank was a Methodist by faith; he retired from Weir-Cove Moving and Storage where he worked as a truck driver. Frank also was a veteran of WWII having served his country in the US Army; he was also the captain of his bowling league at All-American Lanes in Steubenville.In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna (Young) Tolman who passed away in 1995; daughter Goldie Grimes; son Sanford Tolman; two sisters, Rose Skaggs and Dorothy Sheets; one brother Raymond Tolman.Frank is survived by two sons, Robert (Karen) Tolman of Steubenville, Frank (Debra) Tolman of Piney Fork; two daughters, Judith Grant of Wintersville, Lynn Tolman of Smithfield, OH; two brothers, Patsy Tolman of Texas and Guy Tolman of Penn.; two sisters, Marlene Montgomery of Texas and Edna Palsic of Brilliant. Frank is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Dawn, Frank, Guy, Gini, Seana, Tristan, Justin, Eric, Steve and Clyde; 9 great-grandchildren, Bryor, Hunter, Sage, Brandon, Tiffany, Sydney, Megan, Paisley and Madison.Frank's burial was held today, Tuesday, January 6, 2008 at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
