Freda Mae (Roberts) Baker, 85 of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday Feb. 1, 2011 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville. Freda was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Wheeling, W.Va., daughter of the late Wayne and Edna Wagner Roberts. Freda was a homemaker, was a long time Girl Scout leader and Volunteer for the Black Diamond Girl Scout Council and she was Past President of the Wintersville Women's Club.In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her sister Alice Roberts and two brothers Ralph and Tom Roberts. Surviving are her husband LeRoy Baker of home, one Son Jeffrey Baker of Wintersville, her daughter Carrie and her husband Kirk Montgomery of Liberty Twp., Ohio, two grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Mitch McKelvy of Columbus, Ohio and Nathaniel Montgomery of Liberty Twp., Ohio. Her three sisters, Marion and her husband Otto Zwicker and Patty Miller all of Wheeling, W. Va., Jackie Borchardt of Sierra Madre, CA., and her cousin Joyce and her husband Paul Bradshaw of Bridgeville, Pa.A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by theJ. E.
