Frederick A. Fred Galea-Leone, 73, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023, in the Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.

Fred was born May 3, 1950, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Herman and LeVenna (Rock) Leone, who both passed away when Fred was just a child.

After he graduated from Catholic Central High School in Steubenville, Fred worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Mingo Jct., OH. He later started acquiring properties and became a landlord.

Fred loved his flowers, especially his rose bush. He also enjoyed seeing the changing of the seasons with fall being his favorite.

In addition to his parents Herman and LeVenna, Fred was also preceded in death by his adoptive dad, Rev. Fr. John M. Galeo and his sister, Gaye Leone. Fred loved being a dog dad to his pugs, Sammie and Niko, who both have passed away, so hopefully they are all hanging out in Heaven.

He leaves behind his loving daughter, LeeAnna Lee Leone of Toronto, and stepson, Malik Stovarsky of Pittsburgh.

Freds wishes were to be cremated with no public services. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. wwwjefosterfh.com
