Gary Wayne Grimm, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 peacefully at his home.

Gary was born May 25, 1946 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Donald Eugene and Pauline Helen (Harris) Grimm.

He was a retired Supervisor with the First Energy Corp. H.W. Sammis Plant in Stratton, OH. Gary was a Veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member and Past Commander of the Toronto American Legion Post 86.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie (Kalivoda) Grimm who passed Dec. 8, 2017, grandson Holden, brother Larry and sister Susan.

Gary leaves behind his two sons, Donald Paul (Jennifer) Grimm of Toronto and Michael (Lori) Grimm of New Alexandria, PA; dear friend and companion, Alice Marie Lott of Chester, WV; four grandsons, Hayden (Shawna) Grimm, Dakota (Bree Leverett) Grimm, Braden Haught, and Michael Grimm, II; granddaughter, Nina Grimm; great grandchildren, Colton Click and Haydriana Grimm.

Services for Gary will be private and held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com
