Gary E. Ogden, 80, of Rayland, OH passed away at his home on Tuesday May 27, 2025.

Gary was born July 10, 1944, in Rayland, son of the late Ross and Harriett (Hartshorn) Ogden. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Patricia Long and Gene Ogden.

He was the owner-operator of Micro Network Services. Gary was also a member of the Select Service Board and the American Legion.

Gary was a Veteran of the US Army having served his country during the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife, Shirley A. (Adams) Ogden, whom he married July 10, 1968; son, Lance (Crystal) Ogden of Bentonville, AR, and daughter, Stacie (Luke) Fabry of Smithfield, OH; four grandchildren, Dusty and Danielle Ogden, Myah and Kain Fabry, and one great-grandson, Jasper Ogden.

Visitation will be held Monday June 2, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield where services will follow at 1 PM. Kenny Mossor will officiate with burial in the New Alexandria Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the Piney Fork and Dillonvale American Legions. www.jefosterfh.com
