Gene V. Straight, 83, of Toronto, OH, formerly of Pittbsurgh, PA, passed away Thursday, February 09, 2012 in Sienna Woods Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH.Gene was born July 15, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Vince and Irene Burkholder Straight.In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette (McElfresh) Straight whom were married on June 3, 1950 and she passed in 1991; his four brothers, Jack, Edd, Bob and Bill Straight.Gene is survived by his son, Vince (Sharon) Straight of Toronto, OH; his two daughters, Vicki (Willie) Hudson and Joan (Jay) Olczak both of Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren, Eric and Angela Straight both of Toronto, OH, Sheena and Jacque Hudson, April and Tiffany Olczak all of Pittsburgh, PA.Visitation for Gene will be held on Sunday, February, 12 from 1-3 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13 at 1pm. Earl Trikones will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
