Genevieve L. (Perkins) Beaman, 97, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, August 09, 2013 in the Sienna Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH. Genevieve was born February 22, 1916 in Barnesville, OH, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Velma B. Gould Perkins. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, the Mary Martha Sunday School Class and the Faith Fellowship Group of the Church. She also served on the Jefferson County Election Board.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ora F. Beaman who passed in 1989, her daughter Donna R. Moody who passed in 2003, two brothers, Denzel and Carlos Perkins, one sister Lillian Mihalik.Genevieve leaves behind five daughters, Glenna Bates of Richmond, OH, Darlene (Kenneth) Frazee of Steubenville, OH, Marilyn (Jim) Merrill of Waynesburg, OH, Judy Davis of Steubenville, Janet (Ray) Morrison of Richmond; son-in-law John Moody of Steubenville, special niece Delores Davis of Toronto. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Visitation for Genevieve will be held on Sunday, August 11 from 2-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH where her funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate and burial will follow in Ft.
