Geoffrey W. Byers, 39, raised in Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday.

Geoff was born May 20, 1976 in Steubenville, OH son of George Buddy and Peggy (Keenan) Byers, husband of Elizabeth (McClain) Byers, dad to Keirsten and Seth and grandson of Betty and the late James Henderson.

He had many talents that he used helping others. He worked for Ironworkers Local #549 out of Wheeling, WV. Geoff also worked as a mechanic, car detailing, tree cutting and he worked for a while as a manager of Yellow Creek Campground for Sammy Abdalla.

You may not have known his name, but he was the young man who would stop to help you on the side of road, fix the problem or drive you wherever you needed to go. His sense of humor will be missed. He loved taking the family off-road riding, RC cars, hunting, fishing and camping.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11 am at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Memorial Visitation will take place from 10 am til time of his Memorial Service.
