Obituary
George C. Sonny Chupa, 70, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday Jan. 28, 2015 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Sonny was born Oct. 19, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late George and Esther Bond Chupa.
Sonny was a self-employed truck driver and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966.
In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Jack and Garnet Bond, who raised him.
Surviving are his children, Kenneth (Beth) Chupa of East Liverpool, OH, Barbie (Ray) Poe of the U.S. Army in Germany; his three grandchildren; his three sisters, Judy Strovilas of Steubenville, OH, Melba (Webb) King of Beaver, PA and Charlene (Tim) Starr of Toronto, OH.
There will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, OH. www.jefosterfh.com.
