Hudok

George T. Hudok, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday Dec. 2, 2014 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
George was born June 7, 1925 in Toronto, son of the late John and Elizabeth Nemitt Hudok.
He was retired from Timet-Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto, where he was a NDT operator for 28 years. George was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Toronto American Legion Post #86, V.F.W. and a life member of the Weirton Moose Lodge.
George served his country in the U.S. Marines during WWII in the Pacific.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters.
Surviving is his wife, Mary A. (Olszewski) Hudok whom he married on Sept. 16, 1950; his son, David (Paula) Hudok of Toronto; four daughters, Carol (Robert) Murray of Toronto, Barbara Banfield of Wintersville, OH, Patricia Hudok of Steubenville and Janet (Emmett) Mosti of Toronto; eight grandchildren, Jennifer and Cassie Murray, Todd (Kelli) Banfield, Michelle and Kristen Banfield, Jamie (Ryan) Westling, Brian (Tarrah) Afek, Gregory Afek; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Veronica Dionne of Jacksonville, FL.
Visitation will be held on Friday Dec. 5, 2014 from 3pm to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Saturday morning there will be a viewing at the funeral home from 9 to 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church located on Findley St. in Toronto. Rev. Father Thomas Vennitti will Celebrate Georges Mass and Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
Full military honors will be provided by the Toronto American Legion Post # 86. There will be a Vigil Service Friday at 3 pm at the funeral home.
Georges family would like to offer a special thank you to Trinity East and Trinity West staff, Dr. Kuruc and Dr. Colflesh for all of the care they gave to George and his family during his illness.
