Geraldine M. Baricska, 90, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Tuesday Oct. 13, 2015 at her home.

Geraldine was born January 3, 1925 in Lumberport, WV, daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Ross) Kemp.

She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, John Baricska in 2006; two brothers, Charles Kemp Jr. and Paul Kemp; her grandson, Roger Baricska; her great-granddaughter, Alyssa Merckle and her son-in-law, Larry Cook.

Surviving are her children, Gladys (John) Merckle of Georges Run, Nancy Cook and John Butch (Sharon) Baricska all of Smithfield; her sister, Betty Zellner of PA; nine grandchildren, several great & great-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday Oct. 16, 2015 from 11 am til time of Geraldines funeral service at 1:00 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield. Pastor Roger Wayne will officiate her service and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
