Gladys E. (Stewart) Cassels, 98, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 in the Acuity Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.

Gladys was born April 30, 1920 in Flushing, OH, daughter of the late Clyde and Clarissa (Walker) Stewart.

She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard who passed in 1973, her sons, Louis, Terry, John and Frank, three sisters and one brother.

Gladys leaves behind her children, Linda Jackson of Canonsburg, PA, James Cassels of Dillonvale, Pauline Oiler of Wintersville, OH, Clyde Cassels of Dillonvale, Debbie (Bob) Myler of Toronto, OH and Paul Cassels of Dillonvale; her brothers, Buck, John, Donald and Marion; her sisters, Imogene, Clarissa and Shirley; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 11 am til time of her funeral service at 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Pastor Lori Jones will officiate and her burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield. www.jefosterfh.com
