Glenn W. Dickinson, 88, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Sat. July 30, 2011 at his home. Glenn was born in Corry, Pa. on Aug. 12, 1922, son of the late Willis A. and Martha Davis Dickinson. Glenn is retired from First Energy Corp., formerly Ohio Edison where he was a foreman in the control room and later was a consultant to the company. He was protestant by faith and served his country during W.W. II in the U S Air Force. Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Mary M. Cervenak Dickinson on Feb. 16, 2009.Surviving are his two sons, Glenn W. (Penny) Dickinson of E. Liverpool, Ohio and Keith (Lynn) Dickinson of Hazelmere, England. Six grandchildren, G.R. (Jenny) Dickinson, Meredith (Bob) Sweeney, Andrea (Jeremy) Corbisello, Mark, Ryan, and Blair (Jackie) Dickinson. Seven great-grandchildren, Nolan, Josey and Russ Dickinson, Madison and Olivia Sweeney, Jackson and Wilson Corbisello. Per Glenn's wishes, there will be no visitation and burial will be private. J.E.
