Glenn M. Kithcart, 93, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Monday Sept. 9, 2013 in the Gables Care Center Hopedale, OH. Glenn was born Sept. 23, 1919 in Bloomingdale, OH, son of the late James T. and Mary N. Mather Kithcart. He was a self-employed farmer in the Smithfield area. Earlier in his life he worked for the Fellows Feed Supply in Steubenville and for the Woodford Feed Store in Smithfield. Over the years Glenn attended the Smithfield Christian Church. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Carol (Murdock) Kithcart who passed in 2003. Glenn is survived by his daughter Alice (Jim) Harmon of Brilliant, OH; his two sons Lee and Carl Kithcart at the farm, his grandson Gary Harmon and great-grandson Cole Harmon. Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept. 12, 2013 from 1 - 3 pm and 6 - 9 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 107 Hill St. Smithfield, OH. Services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Wilford Simeral and Pastor John Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomingdale Cemetery.
