Gloria (Davis) Gill, 90, of Irondale, OH, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 17, 2010 after a short stay in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.Gloria was born on April 13, 1919 in Irondale, OH, daughter of the late Alonzo and Margaret (Bailey) Davis. She was a member of the Hammondsville United Methodist Church and she attended New Somerset Christian Church. Gloria had a love of reading and traveling. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, James Gill who passed away in 1977; grandson John Boley; brothers William, Charles, Alonzo Ray "Toot", Gerald "Dutch" Davis; sisters Erla "Peg" Johnson, Opal Romick, Ina Nicholson and Olive Holcomb.Gloria was the loving mother of her four children, Rodney (Barbara) Gill of Reynoldsburg, OH, Marsha (James) McConnell of Irondale, OH, Margaret (David) Wolford of Newark, OH, and Gloria Boley of Irondale, OH; one sister, Shirley Vanderjagt of Cadillac, MI. Gloria is also survived by eight grandchildren, Susan Gill, Matthew, Michael (Michelle) and Steven McConnell, Abby and Erin Wolford, Jonathan (Krista) and Justin Boley; two great-grandchildren, Angelina Boley and Katelyn McConnell.Visitation for Gloria will be held on Wednesday, January 20 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Gloria's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 21 at 11am the New Somerset Christian Church, New Somerset, OH, with Pastor Rob Rowe officiating.
