Harriett R. Baker, 90, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Harriett was born Jan. 4, 1930 in Toronto, daughter of the late Harry and Laura (Rhodes) Smith.

She owned and operated Harrietts Beauty Shop in Toronto for over 60 years. Harriett was a 1947 graduate of Toronto High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class in Toronto.

Harriett loved to collect antiques and frequent local auctions and sales.

In addition to her parents, Harriett was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Smith.

Harriett leaves behind her husband, Glenn D. Baker, whom she married March 10, 1951; her three children, Dave (Jackie) Baker of Toronto, Mark (Tamara) Baker of Brentwood, TN and Bonnie (Jim) Rampello of Toronto; her brother, Harry (Kathy) Smith of Parma, OH; her sister-in-law, Shelby Smith of Toronto; her six grandchildren, Jesse Baker, Abigail (Andy) LeMasters, Ian and Elaina Baker, Matt and Jenna Rampello.

A private family viewing and funeral service will be held at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and her burial will take place in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
