Obituary

Harry Dean Littlecott, 63, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Akron General Hospice Care Center, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Nancy J. (Paris) Littlecott whom he married on Feb. 5, 1972. Devoted father of three children, Michelle R. (Aaron) Peach of Columbus, OH, Melanie A. (Jeff) Mesmer of Green, OH and Randy (Kim) Littlecott of Houston, PA; grandfather of Kai, Mariana, Grace, Rosalie and Liliana. Harry was born April 22, 1950 and is the son of D. Lourelle (Clites) Littlecott of Cincinnati, OH and the late Harry A. Littlecott. He is also survived by his sister Lee Anne (Harold) Childers of Cincinnati, OH. Harry worked at Weirton Steel for 35 years where he was General Manager of Steel Making, then relocated to Mittal Steel, Sparrows Point in Maryland for 7 years as a General Manager of Purchasing. Harry was a former member of the Riverview UMC, attended St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto and St. Joan of Arc in Aberdeen, MD. He was a member of the Toronto Lions Club where he served as Past President and Zone Chairman. Harry was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, loved golfing and spending time at the beach. Visiting hours for Harry will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm and again on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. His funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 am at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto. There will be additional visitation on Friday in the rear of the church from 9:15 til the time of his service at 10 am. Burial will follow at Toronto Union Cemetery in Toronto, OH.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harry's memory to: Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service 3358 Ridgewood Rd.
