Harry Thurman Fisher, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday May 26, 2018 in Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

Thurman was born Dec. 20, 1943 in Toronto son of the late Walter Uriah and Lillie Mae (Tice) Fisher.

He was retired from the former Hancock Manufacturing Co. in Toronto. He was a member of the Toronto Eagles and the Toronto American Legion Post #86.

Thurman served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, Thurman was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his three children, Roger (Kristen) Fisher of Steubenville, OH, Amy (John) Teramana of Las Vegas, NV and LeAnn Fisher of IN; his care giver, Phyllis Fisher of Steubenville; his brother, David Fisher of FL; his sister, Rose Ann Garren of Zanesville, OH; his six grandchildren, Alyssa W. Fisher, R. Nicholas Fisher, Anthony and Luca Teramana, Dallas and Devin Collins.

Thurmans wishes were to be cremated and his burial will be held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com.
