Harry L. Mosser, 85 of Bridgeport, Ohio, formerly of the Smithfield area, passed away Thursday Sept. 11, 2008 at the home of his son Bob Mosser in Smithfield. Harry was born Dec. 24, 1922 in Rush Run, Ohio, son of the late John George and Anna Litteton Mosser. He was retired from Conrail and was a Methodist by faith.In Addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife Dessie Hannah Mosser in 1996, two sons, Frank and James Keener and by four sisters. Surviving are three sons, Charles Keener of Mingo, John (Kathy) Mosser of Yorkville, and Bob (Mary Sue) Mosser of Smithfield. Three daughters, Rosemary Keener of Toronto, Cindy (Gary) Bickerstaff of Mingo and Katherine (Ronald) Cassidy of Smithfield. One brother, Cecil Mosser of Cadiz. 18 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Saturday at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield, from 11:00am. up til time of Harry's services at 1:00 pm. Pastor Roger Wayne will officiate the service.
