Helen D. Welday 66 of Toronto, Ohio died Wednesday April 7, 2004 in Trinity Medical Center West. Helen was born Jan. 8, 1938 in Toronto, Daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Rock Mudron. Helen was retired from the Toronto City Schools, where she was a bookkeeper, assistant to the Treasurer. Helen was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto, the Sunrise Senior Citizens Club, and was an avid Bingo Player. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her Husband, Richard T. "Dick " Welday in 2002, A Brother, Michael and a Sister, Barbara. Surviving are; one Son; John ( Jodi ) Welday of Toronto, Two Daughters; Lorrie ( Matt ) Phillips of New Philidelphia, Ohio, Kathy (Karl "Opie" ) Oprisch of Massillon, Ohio. Eight Grandchildren; Samantha, Zachery, and John Phillips, Jared and Jordan Welday, Kristopher, Daniel, and Anna Oprisch. One Brother; Robert "Bob" Mudron of Toronto, Five Sisters; Mary Bauer Of Montclair, Calf., Anna Burns, Madgdaline "Madge" DeJulio, Margaret "Marge" (Bernard ) Kane , Elizabeth "Betty " (Jack ) Pope all of Toronto. Several nieces and Nephews. We lost an angel on this earth in our Mother, Grandmother, Wife, and Friend. A soul so kind and gentle that her mere presence comforted and calmed. We will miss her soft voice and constant unconditional love and care. But, heaven is a brighter place now and her spirt will forever be with us. Friends and Family may call on Saturday from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc.701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. There will be no calling hours on Easter Sunday. Friends and Family may call on Monday at St. Joseph R.C. Church on N. River Ave. in Toronto; from 9:00 am. Up til Helen's Funeral Liturgy with Mass which is at 10:00 am. Msgr. Kurt Kemo will be the Celebrant and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Vigil services will be on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 pm. at the Funeral Home.
