Ida Elizabeth (Kaczmerek) Allen, 89, of Toronto, Ohio passed way Thursday Oct. 30, 2008 at her home.Ida was born Nov. 28, 1918 in Follansbee, W.Va., daughter of the late Martin and Bernice Kosikowski Kaczmerek. Ida formerly was a cook at Dyer Country Club, Toronto Lanes and Margaret's. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her Husband William C. Allen in April of 1977, her Daughter Sandy Allen and Son William Robert Allen and Grandson Jimmy Allen.Five brothers, Stanley, Alex, Joe, Chester, and Tony Kaczmerek. Two Sisters, Alice Szypulski and Helen Gordon.Surviving are her Son, James M. (Mary Ann) Allen of Irondale, Four Daughters, Betty Cornelius of West Lafayette, Ohio; Kay (Dave) Cottrell and Barb (Tom) Schroyer all of Toronto and Rene (Paul) DiEdwards of Weirton. Eight Grandchildren; Larry (Kelly) Argentine, Lisa Argentine, Brenda Davis, Brian (Alyssa) Argentine, David (Roxanne) Schroyer, Amy (Doug) Elson, Brandi DiEdwards, Roberta Montgomery and 21 Great-Grandchildren.Friends and family may call Sunday Nov. 2nd, from 12 Noon to 3:00 pm. and from 6::00 pm. to 9:00 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Services for Ida will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. Father Thomas Vennitti will officiate the service and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.
