Irene L. Anderson, 91, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Jan. 17, 2009 in Trinity Medical Center East 9 th Floor Extended Care. Irene was born Jan. 24, 1917 in Wellsburg, W.Va., daughter of the late Clyde and Ella Chaeney Leffler. Irene was a homemaker and was the former manager of the former McAllister's Dairy Store in Toronto. She was a member of the 1st. United Methodist Church, the Daughters of America, and the Steubenville Moose. In addition to her parents Irene was preceded in death by her husband Clifford in 1980, her daughters Marion Deku and Marcia Swartzmiller, her brother Harrison, and two sisters Gloria Sox and Leola Harrington. Surviving are one daughter Carol Carouthers Brand of Toronto, two sons-in-law Robert (Mary Lou) Deku of Toronto and Jerald Swartzmiller of Wellsville. 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.Friends and family may call on Monday from 5pm. til 8pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Irene's service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate the service and burial will follow in Ft.
