Obituary
Irene M. Skippy Choma, 93, of Stratton, OH, passed away Thursday Nov. 12, 2020 in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.
Skippy was born May 19, 1927 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Nicholas Nick and Mary (Shimmel) Choma.
She worked as a cashier in the downtown Kroger store for 41 years, retiring in 1986.
Skippy was a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church, the Womens Guild and was a life member of the Toronto High School Alumni Assoc., graduating in 1945.
In addition to her parents, Skippy was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Carr and her brother, Nick Choma.
Surviving is her niece, Theresa (Keith) Jacobs of Canonsburg, PA and her nephew, George (Donna) Carr of Churchton, MD.
Skippy was laid to rest in the Toronto Union Cemetery on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020.
