Irene C. Rensi, 89, of Piney Fork, Ohio passed away Wednesday Jan. 20, 2010 in the Gable Care Center in Hopedale.Irene was born July 20, 1920 in Adena, Ohio, daughter of the late Bolok and Stephanie Drumenski Olszewski. She was a former nurse's aid for the former Reynolds Nursing Home. A Catholic and was a member of the Piney Fork American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Rensi, on July 15, 1982, a grandson T.J. Ireland, a sister Gay Pannepucci, and two brothers Charles and Ed "Cotton" Olszewski. Irene is survived by three children, Judy Ireland of Gahanna, Ohio, Jeri (Donnie) Kovarik of Colerain, and William C. (Mary Frances) Rensi of Bloomingdale. Five Grandchildren, Kim(Ken) Erickson, Jodi(John) Horgan, Jamie(Tony)Boff, Randy(Julie) Kovarik and Christopher(Stephanie) Rensi. 13 Great-grandchildren and three sisters, Wanda Cesare of Wheeling, Helen Payovich of Adena and Dolly Arnold of Dillonvale.Friends and family may call on Friday Jan. 22nd, from 4-8 pm., at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Irene's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30 am. Msgr. John Kolesar will conduct her service and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
