Obituary

Jack McKnight, 68, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Sunday March 15, 2009 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville. Jack was born May 31, 1940 in Toronto, son of the late Delbert and Bessie Rawson McKnight. Jack was retired from Weirton Steel Corp., where he worked in the 54" Strip Mill, and after retirement Jack was employed at the MBS Industries in Weirton. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 yr. Club and Jack served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. Surviving Jack are his brother Walter Dean "Mac" (Grace Marcella) McKnight of Toronto, his two sisters Wilma Walker and Wanda (Kenneth) Woodward both of Toronto. One niece Linda Clifton and her daughter Lindsay of Toronto, four nephews Michael Walker and his daughter Amanda of Hamburg, N.Y., Kenny (Dawn) Woodward and their children Tyler and Josh of Mt. Joliet, TN., Mark Woodward and his daughter Deidra of Westover, Pa., Brent (Laurie) Woodward and their children Ashlyn and Fiona of LaVergne, TN. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6pm.- 8pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio; where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate Jack's Service and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery. Full Military Graveside honors will be conducted by the Toronto American Legion Post # 86.
