James E. 'Jim' Chambers, 58, formerly of Toronto, passed away Friday, August 8, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Jim was born March 8, 1950 in Steubenville, OH son of the late Ernest W. Chambers, who passed away in 2001, and Clarice J. (Willoughby) Chambers Manning, who survives. Jim graduated from Toronto High School in 1968; he was formerly employed by Weirton Steel and he was a Christian by faith. Jim also was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jim is survived by his mother, Clarice (John) Manning of Toronto, his 4 sons, Chris (Kelli) Chambers of Columbus, OH, Zak Chambers of Columbus, OH, Josh (Jessica) Chambers of Akron, OH, and Seth Chambers of San Francisco, CA; his two brothers, Thomas W. (Debbie) Chambers of St. Petersburg, FL, Dennis W. (Janey) Chambers of Toronto; his life-partner Colleen Rouse and her two children, Daniel (Ashley) Dowdle, Dezarae (Nick) Workman all of Bloomingdale, OH; his uncle William (June) Willoughby of Weirton, WV. Jim is also survived by his two grandchildren Addison Chambers and Ava Dowdle. Jim's funeral arrangements are being handled by the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
