James L. Jimmy Engel, 37, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his home.

Jimmy was born Sept. 12, 1980 in Steubenville, OH, son of Ronald Bert Engel and Brenda Sue (Fisher) Common.

He was a member of the class of 1999 at Toronto High School.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his uncle, Brad Engel.

Jimmy leaves behind his son, James Anthony Sherwood Engel of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; his daughter, Hadley Lynn Engel of Toronto; his father, Bert Engle of Toronto; his mother, Brenda (Donnie) Common of Pittsburgh, PA; his sister, Jody (Ryan) Allinder of Worthington, OH; his nieces, Addy, Aubrey and Kami Allinder; his aunts, Beverly Latalladi of Woodbridge, VA, Sharon (Butch) Straight and Marilyn Waggoner both of Toronto.

Services for Jimmy will be private and held at the convenience of his family. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
