James E. Jim Fullerton, 88, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family.

Jim was born Feb. 2, 1930 in Toronto, son of the late Samuel and Alice (Donohue) Fullerton. He was a Veteran of the US Army Air Force.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (OBrien) Fullerton, his two sons, Buddy and Duck Fullerton, his sister, Ruth Chevalier and his brothers, Bill, Bud and Sambo Fullerton.

Jim is survived by his significant other, Ruth Scott; his daughter, Linda Stewart and his son, Dale Fullerton; his grandchildren, Chris (Tiff) Stewart, Lisa Cymbor, Kayla Fullerton, Autumn Fullerton and Timmy (Tammy) VanKirk; his daughter-in-law, Karen Fullerton and his son-in-law, Neil Stewart; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Angela and Noah; his siblings, Ronald, Bob and Walter (Cathy) Fullerton, Janet Morrow, Jackie Williamson, Beverly Eltringham, Carol (Mike) Long and Rosalie McIntyre and his step-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, Sept. 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 pm at the funeral home and his burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors will be presented by the Toronto American Legion Honor Guard.

Jims family would like to thank the Tony Teramana Cancer Center and Valley Hospice nurses and staff for the care and comfort they provided.
