James G. Jim Hasting, 71, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center in Steubenville, OH.

Jim was born May 29, 1950, in Steubenville, son of the late Lawson C. and Genevieve E. (Ghenne) Hasting.

He was retired from Bulldog Rack, in Toronto, as a Press Operator. Jim was a diehard Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Jim leaves behind his sisters, Donna K. Blackburn, and Ruth A. Scott both of Toronto; brother, William Bill Hasting of Columbus, GA; niece, Sherri Hunter and nephew, Carl Deke Scott, both of Wintersville, OH.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 18 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by the funeral service at 4 PM. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate with burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
