James Richard 'Dick' Morgan, 66, of Las Vegas formerly of Smithfield, passed away June 20th 2008 in Las Vegas.Dick was born Aug. 31, 1941 in Martins Ferry, son of the late Edward Thomas and Mae Martin Morgan. He was a manager of a Clothing Store and was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Edward Morgan Jr. Surviving are four sisters, Darlene (Wayne) Morgan of Smithfield, Geneive Fristrick of Mingo, Shirley Odgen of Rayland, and Edith Morgan of Flordia. His caretaker Paul Carone of Las Vegas and his faithful dog Buddy.A memorial visitation will be held on Monday July 7th. from 10:00 am. up til time of Dick's service at 12 noon, at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield. Rev. Ivan Martin will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Northern Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Piney Fork American Legion Post # 735 at the Funeral Home.
