Obituary
James A. Reed, Sr., 68, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 in the Veterans Medical Facility in Aspinwall, PA.
Jim was born Jan. 24, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Amster and Mary Fisher Reed.
He was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked for 30 years in the Accounting Dept. Jim also was a Veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Reed, who passed in May of 2014.
Jim leaves behind his son, James A. Reed, Jr. of Toronto; his daughter, Amanda (Tim ) Gorby of Toronto; his five grandsons, James III, Travis, Alec, Jonathan and Jaston; his two sisters, Dorothy Oxier and Jane (Larry) Lynch both of Toronto.
Jims wishes were to be cremated with no services. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. www.jefosterfh.com.
