Jane L. (Straka) Hudok, 84, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday Dec. 29, 2014 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born Feb. 27, 1930 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Thomas M. and Nan Bell Straka.

Jane was a homemaker and for many years was the housekeeper at St. Joseph Rectory in Toronto.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and the Catholic Womens Club. Jane was a 1948 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Hudok, who passed away on Aug. 28, 1982, whom she married on Nov. 27, 1948 at St. Francis Church in Toronto. She was also preceded by her son, Christopher J. Hudok who passed away on May 29, 2012; two sisters, Mary Frances (Maurice) Armstrong and Nancy (Joseph) Hook; her brother, Thomas P. Straka; two nephews, Robert A. Hook and Joseph (Pokey) Hook.

Surviving is her son, Kenneth Hudok of Stratton, OH; her four daughters, Judy (Jerry) Richards, Paulette Petrisko, Becky (Brad) Beswick and Betty (Mark) Walker all of Toronto; ten grandchildren, Ken (Tiffany) Hudok of Kalamazoo, MI, William Beswick and Denise Petrisko both of Toronto, Gretchen (Bryan) Foster of Centreville, VA, Natalie (Chad) Messenger of Mt. Sterling, OH, Brenda (Larry) Agin of Toronto, Sarah Richards of London, OH, Betsy (Russell) Hunt of Steubenville, Heather Hudok (fianc Frank) of Ben Salem, PA and Alicia (Joseph) Tizol of Fairless Hills, PA; fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Jane will be held on Friday morning at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church 225 N. River Ave. in Toronto from 9 am til time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am. Father Thomas Vennitti will celebrate her Mass and burial will take place in Toronto Union Cemetery at a later date.

Janes arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.

The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity East and Trinity West for the care they gave to Jane.
