Jane Ann (Long) Toothman, 85, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville.

Jane was born March 9, 1938, in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late James and Dolores (Dougherty) Long.

She was graduate of Jefferson Union High School and a member of Bell Chapel United Methodist Church and the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution, Steubenville Chapter.

Jane was a Registered Nurse having worked at the former St. John Medical Center in Steubenville and Steubenville City School System, where she later retired. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by husband, Daryl "Sid" Toothman, who passed in 2021.

Jane leaves behind her son, Jim & Angie Toothman of Carrollton, OH, daughter, Nancy J. & Dave Flood and granddaughter, Jordan Cencarik both of Toronto; sister, Nancy Pachell of Youngstown, OH, nephew, nieces, and many cousins who she loved deeply, and her familys loving animals.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12 noon to 2 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Janes funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Hospice Chaplain Peter Bortz and burial in the Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
