Janet E. (Sciance) Coffman, 65, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 09, 2013 in the Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville, OH.Janet was born Sept. 14, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred Willoughby Sciance.Janet was a member of the Grandview Christian Church in Powhatan Point, OH. She was a longtime employee of the HUB in Steubenville, OH and also the Toronto Alumni Association. Janet was a member of the Toronto Order of the Eastern Stars 215 where she was Past Worthy Matron for the Chapter several times; she currently was Grand Page to the Deputy Grand Matron 2013 of District 14. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brother Sam Powell.Janet leaves behind her husband, George W. Coffman II of home whom she married on Feb. 17, 1972; her son Justin W. (Jennifer) Coffman of Toronto, OH, her granddaughter Rylee Adams of Petersburg, WV and her sister Judy (John) Lewis of Toronto, OH.Visitation for Janet will be held on Friday, July 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. There will be and Eastern Star Service at 7pm followed by her funeral service at 8 pm on Friday with Rev. Luke Hightshue officiating.
